Day 1: Product Knowledge & Wax Education 

9:00 AM - 9:15 AM: Registration & Welcome 

  • Introduction of participants - Your Name, School Attended, Salon/Suite Location. What would you like to get out of this class? 
  • Housekeeping (bathrooms, cell phones, lunch pre-orders) 

9:15 AM - 9:30 AM: Course Overview 

  • Educator Intro: A personal story from the Educator showcasing their expertise. 
  • Discussion on why they chose Honeycomb and their journey in the beauty industry.

9:30 AM - 9:45 AM: Terms, Hair, and Wax Recap 

  • Recap on common terms in the industry 
  • Review hair type differences 
  • Review Wax differences 

9:45 AM - 10:15 AM: Honeycomb Difference

  • Deep dive into Honeycomb's unique ingredients and formulation. 
  • Discussion on the importance of quality ingredients and the meticulous formulation process.

10:15 AM - 10:30 AM: Break 

10:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Etiquette, Consultation, and Prep Techniques 

  • Importance of consultations as the first line of communication with a client 
  • Proper etiquette while waxing 
  • Prep and your role in skin health 

11:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Consistency, Application, and Removal Techniques 

  • Consistency is King 
  • Biggest DOs while applying 
  • How to remove wax and when 
  • Cleanup and how to communicate with your client 

11:30 AM - 12:00 PM: The Post-Sell and Follow-Up 

  • Why post-selling is important 
  • Examples of how to speak to your client about additional products 
  • Importance of follow-up in driving success 

12:00 PM - 12:45 PM: Lunch Break

12:45 PM - 2:00 PM: Waxing Demonstrations 

  • Demonstrations of different waxing techniques for various body parts
  • Discussion on proper waxing etiquette. 

2:00 PM - 4:45 PM: Your Turn

  • Practice on each other and models 
  • Leg Wax, Brow Wax, Arm Wax, Underarm Wax, Lip Wax 

    4:45 PM: Award Ceremony, Feedback, Closing Remarks 

    • Complete the feedback form. 
    • Certification distribution to participants. (don't forget to take photos)
    • Celebratory note by the organizer & closing remarks!
