Refund policy
At Hive Beauty Education, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly. To maintain transparency and fairness, we have outlined our refund policy below:
1. Request Guidelines
a) All refund and transfer requests must be submitted in writing to
support@hivebeautyeducation.com.
b) Include: Your Full Name, Class Name, Enrollment Date, and Class Date.
c) Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 14 business days.
2. Non-Refundable Items & Fees
a) Student Wax Kits: Ship immediately upon purchase, are valued at $100, and are yours to keep. Kits are non-refundable.
b) Processing Fees: A 2.9%-9% processing fee applies to all enrollments and is non-refundable. The fee depends on checkout method, this fee is not returned to us either.
c) Model Cost: If a student cancels within 7 days of the scheduled class, a $100 non-refundable fee will apply.
3. 48 Hour Grace Period
a) All in-person class enrollments include a 48-hour grace period from the time of purchase. If you change your mind within 48 hours, you may request a full refund, less the non-refundable processing fee and the $100 Student Kit.
4. Exchange / Transfer
a) More than 7 days before class: One-time transfer to the next available class in your city.
b) Less than 7 days before class: No transfers or refunds due to facility bookings, model scheduling, and supply purchases.
5. Cancellation
a) More than 14 days before class: Eligible for a 50% refund, less the non-refundable processing fee and the $100 Student Kit. Not valid for “Buy Now–Book Later” purchases.
b) 14 days or less before class: Non-refundable. We will, however, work with you to transfer to the next available class in your city.
6. “Buy Now–Book Later” Purchases
a) Within 7 days of purchase: You may request a full refund, less the non-refundable processing fee and the $100 Student Kit.
b) After 7 days: No refunds. You will still receive your Student Kit and training materials.
c) Enrollment period: If you do not enroll in a class within 366 days, your purchase is forfeited.
d) Transfers: Once you select a class date, the standard Exchange/Transfer and Cancellation policies (excluding Section 4a) apply.
7. Licensing & State Requirements
a) It is the responsibility of each student to ensure they meet all licensing and state regulatory requirements prior to enrolling in any in-person class.
b) Some states require an active esthetician or cosmetology license to perform waxing services. Requirements vary by state.
c) Hive Beauty Education is not responsible for verifying eligibility prior to enrollment. Students must confirm requirements directly with their state board before registering.
d) Refunds or transfers will not be granted outside of this policy due to failure to meet state licensing or regulatory requirements. All requests will be handled in accordance with Sections 1–5 above.
8. Online Courses
Each online course has its own refund policy, listed on the product page under the Money Back Guarantee section.
