Live Model Policy
Hive Beauty Education is committed to providing a hands-on learning experience that builds skill, confidence, and real-world readiness. Live models are a core part of that process. Because we work with real people, availability cannot be guaranteed.
Model Availability
We make every reasonable effort to provide sufficient live models to support hands-on practice throughout each class.
- The exact number of models may vary. Classes are typically planned with enough models to allow meaningful practice throughout the day.
- Model availability can shift based on class size, services being taught, and the number of areas each model receives. In some cases, one model may provide multiple service areas. In others, a model may receive only one service.
- While we schedule models in advance, we cannot guarantee that all scheduled models will arrive or remain available due to cancellations, no-shows, or circumstances beyond our control.
Student-Provided Models
Students are welcome and encouraged to bring their own models. If you plan to do so, please notify your educator in advance so the class flow can be scheduled appropriately.
Student Participation as Models
Students are also encouraged to serve as models for one another when appropriate. Being waxed is a valuable learning experience and supports a deeper understanding of technique, client comfort, and service execution from both perspectives.
Alternative Practice Options
If a student is dissatisfied with the number of live models available during their session, educators will work with the student to identify appropriate next steps. This may include:
- Returning on a future date to practice with live models, when available
- Scheduling an additional hands-on practice session
Our goal is for every student to leave confident and supported in their training, while recognizing that live model availability includes variables that cannot be fully controlled. By enrolling in a Hive Beauty Education class, students acknowledge and accept this Live Model Policy.
